Digi Doodle Shop is the results of a mother and daughter’s love for the arts and crafts. It was started a little over 3 years ago with a little more than 100 stamps, and has since then grown to almost 500 stamps. Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair. Having these two complimenting styles have enabledDigi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.
It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations. We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.
Thank you so much for having us, and again the very best of luck to all of you.
Sincerely,
Judy and Joy

Now over to the team to share with your how they have interpreted the challenge.

I've used our sponsor's beautiful 'Shaded Window' digi, coloued with Promarkers, and added a variety of flowers and foliage all made from punched shapes that I combined and moulded to shape.
Jackie
For my easel card I used stamps and distress inks, spellbinder and cheery lynn dies, acetate and vellum and my flowers and leaves were made using a variety of punches.
Jack

I love making flowers using punches - and I do seem to have rather a lot of these punches, lol.  I think, in all, I used 7 different punches, but that includes the scalloped border punch.  If you look closely you can see I've used a tiny holly punch for the centre of the green flowers.

I used Stampin Up! punches to create my flower.  Three of the new Blossom punch images, one 1.25" circle and 1" circle punch plus some brads, rolling the petals of each flower, and voila!  A quick and gorgeous flower!

I used Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals die to cut my flowers from copier paper. I coloured them with distress inks and shaped them until I was happy with their look, to finish the bigger flower I added a pearl.

For my card I have used a Mo Manning digi stamp which I have coloured with my ProMarkers. My DP is from a Papermania Country Companions paper pack. For my flowers I used my "Mother's Day Bouquet" Cricut cartridge and the leaves are made with a Woodware punch.

I realy enjoy making flowers, especially using my Flower Loom, adding a die cut rose to the centre. All the papers and image are from Graphic 45.

I used 'Fresh Baked Pie' digi image from Digi Doodle Shop, framed with flowers made using Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms

I made a flower using my Cameo and coloured it with Pan Patels, stamp and embossing by Hero Arts, sentiment SU.

I made a layout from my little sweetie. Used a doily and the floral die cut from Tim Holtz for my flower.

I made my flowers using the Rose Creation dies from Spellbinder. The swirls across the bottom of the card and the sentiment are new from Hobby Art.

I am afraid this will be our last challenge for a month as I am moving house next week, and will not have time to sort out the blog nor am I altogether certain my broadband will be back on too promptly, so in order to give myself a chance of getting settled the other end I will be suspending the challenges until Monday 6th August.
I applied to BT three weeks ago to move my telephone line and my ISP to move my broadband service but someone made a mistake and I have been without internet since last week! Oh how we have come to depend on the old world wide web and I have felt like I have had my right arm cut off at the elbow without it. So a word of advice, if you are planning a move, don't leave all those things you require the net for until last! I wish I had done all my internet related things before getting the packing done instead of the other way around.
This challenge will close in the normal two weeks, but I will not be announcing the winner until Monday 6th August, just before the new challenge.
When we come back we will be having a Design Team Call, so perhaps you could get your thinking caps on and see what you can come up with to inspire us if you would like to join our happy team.
At this time I sadly have to announce that Melly, Scrapcat and Sally are leaving us due to various issues and we are very sorry to see them go. I would like to wish them all well and thank them for their sterling work over the time they have been with us.

Challenge 70 No Cards, Tags or ATCs, Winner and Top 5

Good morning, it's time to announce our Winner and Top 5 from our last challenge.
Carole would like to thank everyone who entered her No Cards, Tags or ATCs challenge, with some very inventive and imaginative projects and has chosen her Winner and Top 5, and she had this to say 'I have to say how fantastic it was to see the vast array of other crafts that people do - and it was quite hard to make my choices. However, they were all pieces that inspired me in some way to want to have a go myself - I would say that particularly of my chosen winner'
For the prize of the $10 gift voucher from

Congratulations to you all. Please feel free to display our logos on your blogs and if the winner could contact me at CCMChallenges@gmail.comwith the prize she has won in the subject line, I can sort out her prize.
It may take me a while to sort out the winner this time around as I am without an internet connection, which I shall explain in the new challenge later, so please bare with me if I don't get back to you for a couple of weeks. I will try to sort things out as quickly as possible but cannot promise anything.

Don’t forget to come back at 12 noon for our next challenge.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

So without further ado onto the challenge and what the team have come up with this time

It's my turn this week to set the challenge - and my reasoning behind it was to celebrate all those other crafts  that I know we all do!! I've not been a great sewer in the past, but wanted to challenge myself this week by making my first ever patchwork cushion cover!!

Something completely different this week, and a return to my first love! I've stitched a book mark using basic Hardanger techniques and a varigated thread. I love the look of the cut work!

ade a small gift bag for my Dads pressie for Fathers Day. I used a template that came on my Forever Friends CD-Rom. The stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and I have used my Cricut to cut the letters and stars.

I love reading so chose to make a Bookmark for this challenge. The bird on the end of the ribbon is weighted so it will hang over the cover of the book.

I like making projects that are slightly different, and one that I really enjoyed was a mini memory book made from just one sheet of 12" by 12" paper, that was then kept within a small gift box.

I know, mittens!  In June!  What was I thinking.  My daughter is always knocking up fingerless mittens so I thought I'd have a go - never again, LOL.  All those double-ended pointy things.  Still it was fun to try something different.

I've created a fun way to give away goodies by using an old nut jar.  I've used patterned paper, pearls, brads, ribbon, and more to create a nice gift to give to someone as a gift. :)

I made a little toolbox and used the Mo Manning Image "Chocolate Smile"

I made this wee 50s style Swing Apron!
I used some yummy strawberry material and red for contrast, added a handmade flower, some ribbon and a button to finish it off

I made a Memory Album for this challenge, now all I have to do is buy some time to fill it :)

Annette
I made a bookmark for my girl ...first school class...Yes I know...the color of the butterlfly looks very pink But who likes to discuss with 7 year old girl :)

Marie
Have been wanting to start art journaling  for some time and as the challenge for this fortnight was to create something other than a card it was the perfect push I needed. I used IndigoBlu and Tim Holtz stamps,  lots of distress inks and Gesso together with home made stencils. For more details on how I made this and to see some other projects please visit my blog.

I think you will agree there are some gorgeous ideas here to inspire you.
If you would like to stop by their blogs I am sure they would be pleased to see your comments and if you want to know how something was done I am sure there will be more details on their own blogs.

Don’t forget to come back in a fortnight to check if you won

Congratulations to you all. Please feel free to display our logos on your blogs and if the winners could contact me at CCMChallenges@gmail.com with the prize they have won in the subject line, I can sort out your prizes.

I am afraid I don't get time to chase up winners, but if you have mailed and have heard nothing after a week please drop me a reminder as occasionally things end up in my spam filter, and currently I have a lot going on so may not have had time to check, for which I apologise in advance.

Don’t forget to come back at 12 noon for our next challenge.
