Josephine is hosting our challenge today, and the theme is Pearls and/or Gems. We would like to see lots and lots of pearly pearls or blingy gems, or both.
As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it has some luscious pearls or sparkling gems.
Please remember our 15 total challenge rule!

Josephine
For this challenge, I've used a new die from Hobbycraft which was branded Intricut. It's really pretty, and cut somewhat more easily than other large lacy dies I've bought in the past. I've backed it with a contrasting mat, and then added pearl gems to various parts of the cut. I completed the card with some ribbon and a stamped sentiment which I embossed in white.
Angela
Hi Angela here to show you what I've been up to for the new challenge. A new Masterboard using Oxide inks, stencils with gel medium, Memory box dies for the main image had tiny matching gems added to the flowers and brads. The black card blank was also stamped using the Oxide inks.
Judy
Judy here. This is my card for this week challenge. I used a pretty fairy rubber stamp from a Canadian company called Enchanted Hallow Rubber stamps. The stamp is called Crystal. I used copics for the colouring then added a Wink of Stella along with the pearls to give the card some glitter.
Glenda
Wow pearls and bling, how fabulous is that! I used a little bit of pearls, rhinestones and Chrystal Drops stickers for this fairly simple card. I embossed the white background, coloured the image with Prismacolor Markers and added some ribbon for two of the corners. The meow is from the same clear stamps set as the image.
Mary
I have used a House Mouse stamp called cupcake jump and added coloured pearls which match the sprinkles on the cake around the edge of the image.
Pam
I chose to use pearls for this challenge. The lattice and butterfly dies are Cheery Lynn Designs. A My Favorite Things Die was used under the butterfly. I embossed it for a little more interest. The flowers were made with a punch. The pretty sentiment is from Tina Wenke with Stampavie.

Hello, today I prepared a card with pearls for the First Holy Communion.
Jackie
My card was an art deco stepper card with lots of bling... and highlighted with pearls.
Maike
I wanted to create a wedding card with a vintage yet modern feel to it. I used stamps from a German company called Klartext and also this lovely wedding cake from Lawn Fawn. Pearly are not my strong suit, but I feel that the pearl hearts at the bottom add an extra special touch to the card.
Marlene
I have used an LOTV Stamp, added Lots of Pearls, coloured the image with Promarkers and a LOTV Sentiment
