#218 Autumn Colours

Maike is hosting today's challenge, Autumn Colours

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the Autumn colours theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Maike

I love autumnal colours and they go so well together with one of my favourite animals the fox. This cutie is one of Gerda Steiner's newest creations.

Josephine

An Autumn-coloured Christmas card! I've used a stencil, my gelli plate, acrylic paint, stamps from Leoni Pujol and Sweet Dixie and dies from Joanna Sheen and Sizzix.

Mary

I used a die and vein stamp from Crafter's Companion and coloured all using Distress inks. It was matted onto copper mirri.

Angela

I used a Masterboard to create the background for this card and Oxide coloured card to die cut the leaves. Stamped and fussy cut the insects, added a Tim Hotz sentiment and gems to complete the card.

Marlene

I have used Wild Rose Studio Stamp and papers coloured the cute Fox with Promarkers and added a Faux Silk Bow

Glenda

I used a Spellbinders die for the cattails, a border die for an accent and various pieces from my stash. I then added some brown brads for interest and a Stampin' Up Happy Birthday sentiment.

Judy

I used a beautiful digital image from The Paper Shelter for my Autumn card. I made this card for one of my nieces for her upcoming birthday. I coloured the image with Copics, gelli pen, distress inks and pencil crayons. To complete the card I added some recycled silk flowers and a sentiment.

Margaret

For this card I created a small Masterboard and then used Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves Die to cut my leaves out. The background paper is from Maja and I used a small piece of torn corrugated card to add a bit more interest and texture.

Kimx

Nothing screams autumn to me more than acorns and oak leaves and toadstools, so this brand new design from Jane Gill at Woodware ticks all the boxes. I coloured it using distress inks and oxides, and layered it over some embossed card highlighted with gilding wax.

Jackie

I love autumnal colours... my card today was a challenge to myself to see what I could come up with using plain white card, a printed image and some prism alcohol markers. I also used my scan n cut machine to cut out the main image, and the mats.

Agnieszka chanya13

Hello, today I want to show you little box. I used kraft and red papers and hadnade flowers.

Jo

For my card I used layers of brown card & orange papers. I used a LOTV panel of a beautiful Autumn scene that I cut into 3 and finished with a strip of ribbon.

Dr Monika

I Hello everyone!!! Here is my "Autumn Wishes" card, I used my favourite Tim Holtz distress ink pads for colouring die cut leaves and background. Stamped a cute sentiment from Mudra stamp set to finish my card. I hope you will like it. Lots of love...

I made my autumn colours card with strips of washi tape. See my blog for details

#217 All Creatures Great and Small

I hope you are still with us! I completely forgot to post the winner post at the end of July which would have said how long we were going on a break for. Anyhow, hope everyone has had a lovely Summer. We have had a scorcher in the UK, but it seems that Autumn is rapidly on it’s way. So to today’s challenge ….

Marg is hosting today's challenge, All Creatures Great and Small. As it sounds anything in the animal or insect kingdom is acceptable. Please not just a tiny butterfly on the corner of a card though. We would like your 'creature' to be the focal point of your creation.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the All Creatures Great and Small theme.

For this Challenge I have created this super cute Amigurumi rabbit. Actually, this is the very first Amigurumi I have ever made and I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. The parts were crocheted using a free pattern I found on the net, and then sewn together. I have stuffed it with fibre fill and then added the embroidery, etc. Her name is Blossom. If you would like more details, please visit my blog. Have a fabulous day!

Jackie

My card was made using kraft card for a change, and a Woodware stamp. The image was coloured using promarkers.

Josephine

For this, I've used a Pretty Quick stamp, and coloured the result with Spectrum Noir pencils.

Angela

Hi all, I've made this card for a friend who was moving house. I used a combination of decorative papers and a Woodware stamp then cut out the pieces and built it up like a collage. The background was coloured using Distress Oxide ink and the card was completed with the sentiment and gems.

Judy

I made this card for a friend. I fell in love with this cute stamp set by Gerda Steiner. My card was coloured with Copics, Posca Pens, Pencil Crayon, Distress Ink and Diamond Glaze. It was fun piling the animals in the jeep.

Mary

I used a House Mouse Designs decoupage sheet cut down so that it would fit inside a Hunkydory die cut frame.

Marlene

I have used a Wild Rose Studio Stamp , coloured with promarkers and some glitter sparkles

Glenda

I used a digital stamp titled "Josie in a Hat", coloured her with Prismacolor Markers. added a flower and leaves plus a border die cut.

Kimx

My card was made for a friend using a fabulous Whipper Snapper dog stamp and an embossing folder. The extra stamped embellishments are from a rather fun Woodware stamp set.

My card focuses on Karen (Kassa) Hayselden's fabulous stamp Cecil The Cow. With a background from Hero Arts Studio Calico stamp. Please see my blog for details
