#228 Flowers

Kim is hosting today's challenge, Flowers

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Kimx

Plenty of die cut flowers on this card made for my Sister. I coated them in Frantage Powders for added texture. There is a box to match over on my blog.

Josephine

Flowers, but not a card! I used a pattern from Mary Hickmott to make this table mat. I love Hardanger embroidery, but I'm definitely not a traditionalist as I like colour!

Glenda

A Daisy flower card using a stamp from Rubbernecker, coloured with Prismacolor markers and embellished with border die cuts.

Angela

I had fun with this one. Bleeding Tissue technique for the background, Tim Holtz die for the layered Kraft card and Paper Artsy stamps for the flowers and Vase. If you'd like more details you can find this on my blog. Happy crafting, Angela x

Judy

I had fun creating this card using several different cutting dies from my stash that I have never used or had forgotten about.

Mary

I have used one of the stamps from Rare Earth's 'On this special day' set and coloured the image using Chameleon pens. I then dusted the edges using Distress Inks and matted and layered it onto black then white card.

Hello, today I prepared a card for a birthday with lot of flowers. I used Craft O'Clock papers and I cut flowers from a set of extras to cut. I also added a chipboard from Papelia.

Margaret

My card was created using layers of Kaisercraft papers, Little Birdie flowers, die cut leaves and some pieces of pretty lace. For a little extra texture, I added a mixture of prills and microbeads as well as a twine bow. Have fun crafting!!!

Marlene

My card is made with a Penny Black Stamp coloured with my promarkers. I have used a LOTV sentiment stamp and mini Cheery Lynn Small Flourish Die

Jackie

My CAS card was made using some stamps that came free with a magazine and some cardstock from my stash for the mats. I coloured the image using alcohol pens.

Hello lovelies, Here is my super simple Mixed Media Art Journal. I have first covered the page with white Gesso and used some stencils to create different textures on the background. After drying used Lindy's Gang Sprays and Magical shakers for making colourful background. I have used different sets of Mudra stamps for background stamping, focal flowers and lovely sentiment. I hope you will love it. xoxoxo

Maike is hosting today's challenge, Love, Love, Love

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Maike

This cute hedgehog is a stamp designed by Magda Polakow which I absolutely adore! I wanted to keep the rest simple so I only added the pink background and the baker's twine bow. Happy crafting ;o)

Angela

Pull the card blank over some diluted Distress Oxide Ink place onto a craft mat and spray with water and blot. Dry before stamping the background detail and attach the pattern paper shapes which were stamped earlier. Stamps by paper Artsy and INKADINKADO sentiment. Happy creating, Angela xxx

Josephine

A fairly minimalist card as a valentine for my husband. I combined a solid and a lacy heart shape to make a closure for a gatefold card. The paper is from a Papermania pad I've had for a very long time.

Glenda

A Card expressing love. I used a rubber stamp for the sentiment, an embossing folder for the background, a leaf die and some pre-made bought flowers from my stash.

Mary

I have used Sheena Douglass' A Little Bit Sketchy Lovebirds stamp and coloured it using Promarkers.

Judy

Made my card for my hubby for Valentine's Day, the day of love. I used a heart and sentiment are from Tim Holtz along with the copper paper and embossing folders were coloured with Metallic Gilding Polish.

Julie

Using Sara's Signature Collection Floral Fantasy papers and Gemini Stamp and Die Set Butterflies Papillions

Kimx

This beautiful poppy stamp from Penny Black has to be my favourite stamp at the moment. I have used it here with the Alcohol Lift ink pad to create my card.

Margaret

My card was made with some beautiful papers from Kaisercraft's Floral Romance Collection. A couple of small tags with a little faux stitching, lace placed between the layers, a few bits of bling and a little wooden heart (also by Kaisercraft) and my card was complete! Have fun crafting!! xx
