As you will see below the team has some quite different interpretations as to what 'shabby chic' is...... so don't be shy, show us your interpretation.

I have used image from Magnolia Tilda , Die cut/Punch from Cherry Lynn; Martha Steward

Viv
I altered this house shaped shadow box, painting and distressing the outside and using vintage and shabby elements from my stash.

Sharon
I have used Marianne dies to cut the birdcage, bird and the pretty corner in the background paper. The card base and birdcage were cut from kraft card then smooshed over with Picket Fence Distress Stains. A pretty muted background paper, bow, pearls, flowers and a key charm painted over with the Distress Stains completes the vintage shabby chic look.

This theme is one of my favorite styles of crafting. Patterned papers torn and shaded, with some trimmings help make up the background for this Crafty Individuals stamped image.

VANIA
I've used a in image from our sponsor, Milk Coffee, and teamed it with a digital paper from Panda Bear Designs. I gently sanded the paper, giving it a slightly 'scratched' appearance, added a lace frame and some flowers.

My take on Shabby Chic which is a first for me.  My image is LOTV Mermaids and First Edition papers which have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and Distress Ink.

Suze
Is it possible to have "Clean and Simple Shabby Chic"!? Well I've combined the two styles and although my card is still quite CAS, I think it is still pretty and feminine.
The dress form stamp is Kaisercraft. I distressed the edges of the tag and added the seam binding bow, then mounted onto the DP panel which has nice sparkly flower centres.

Carole
I have used an image from our sponsors, Milk Coffee, called 'Tiffany Diva', coloured with Promarkers. I used acrylic paint to create the background.

Cindy
This is an altered mirror, covered with papers and then decorated with texture pastes, die cuts, paints, and ink

Тo make this vintage cooking book you need some templates from spellbinders, lace, designer's papers, small items for decoration and image of the Chef :)

I don't normally do shabby chic, so this was a bit out of my comfort zone.  I used some papers and embellishments from my stash, some ribbon I bought because I loved it  (even though I didn't know what to do with it), and a stamp from Crafty Individuals.

I used some wonderful papers from Maja Design called Sofiero that is a wonderful garden and castle here in Sweden. All the papers are inspired by the gardens there. Now, you don't see that much of them on my card as I have white washed them with some gesso and water. After that I used some Frantage silver and white to make it even more shabby and to look more worn.
