I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art.

Here is how the team interpreted the challenge:-
Fiona
For my card I have used a stamp from The Greeting Farm which I have coloured with my ProMarkers. I have printed my papers from the Crafters Companion SWALK cd. I have used a Marianne Designs Lace Border die and embellishments from my stash.
Sharon
I've used a Marianne die to cut the fan from deep purple card and a pale lilac pearlescent paper. The tassel and flower were coloured purple using alcohol ink. Purple gems add a hint of sparkle.
Josephine
Made for a colleague for her parents, I've used a computer-generated sentiment and die cuts from various manufacturers including some Sizzix Susan's Garden dies for the flowers.
Yvonne
A simple layered card, using a selection of card and papers which was quick and easy to make.
Cindy
A little grey board hanger decorated with embossing, grungepaper and card flowers and a fusible film butterfly.
Marie
I was going to sit this challenge out as purple is not my color of choice but since a few years I had a pad from Panduro with purple/lilac and turquoise designer papers. I was in a turquoise period, so when this challenge came up I decided to use some of all the purple papers left and make a few more Christmas cards using left overs of ribbon, designer papers and gem stones. The ornament dies did I buy last year but never got a round to use. The "God Jul" dies is Merry Christmas in Swedish and comes from ROX stamps.
Suze
This is a 6x6" card. The large butterfly stamp is by Stampin Up, stamped with Versamark and clear embossed onto some SU cardstock. I then die cut it with an SU framelit and matted onto a white embossed layer and some DP. The sentiment is Personal Impressions.
Julie
My Project his time is a door hanger, decorated with acrylic paint and heat embossed to give a crackle effect. I then stamped with Fairies and stars and added a few embellishments from my stash.
Carole
I have made a 60th Birthday Card this time, using Crafter's Companion embossing folders, fabric flowers and my trusty Spellbinders.
Rebecca
For my one layer Christmas card I've stamped a snowflake and then add lots of gems and a simple sentiment.
Viv
Kimx
My card for this challenge has been made using a fabulous Bordered Poppy stamp and Sentments from our sponsor Hobby Art. I have coloured it using Watercolour Pearlex in several different shades of purple.

For my card I used Gypsy coloured ink and stamp set 'Happy Autumn' from CTMH. I did a 2-step stamping method to make the small roses. After fussy cutting them out, I used 3D foam tape to attach them by the stem. My papers are from Color-bok and HOTP.
I made a storage tin from an old Peanut tin. More details on my blog.
