Mary is hosting our challenge today, and the theme is Things With Wings. Anything with wings will count, birds, butterflies and other insects, fairies, aeroplanes, even hearts as long as they have wings!
As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it has wings.
Please remember our 15 total challenge rule!
Some inspiration from our fabulous DT
Mary
I used a print of a blue tit I drew using watercolour pencils. The background was embossed using a Tattered Lace folder and then sanded.
Josephine
I've used stamps from Crafty Individuals and Kaisercraft, coloured with Coloursoft pencils and a flower made using Sizzix and Crafter's Companion dies.
Judy
I used a die and stamp from a recent set called Dragonfly Dreams by Stampin Up. I used Brushos on Yupo paper for the background of the card and Brushos on watercolour paper for the dragonfly.
Glenda
I used a digital image from Sugar Nellie Loves and a sentiment from Playing with Paper . The image was coloured with PrismaColor Markers and the little birdie was die cut from a Heartfelt Creations die set called 'Garden Romance'
Margaret
For this Challenge, I chose to create an Art Journal page. Created the background with gesso, texture paste, Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals, 2Crafty Chipboard and a variety of stamps. The butterflies and clock are free printables from the web which were fussy cut and I also added lots of prills.
Jac
For this challenge I moved right away from paper crafting and made some jewellery. Recently my daughter showed me how to make shamballa bracelets, so after ordering a few vital bits and bobs I set to and made this set and I have to say I love with how it turned out, I hope to make a necklace using the same technique to complete the set soon.
Pam
This little creative fellow has made a beautiful aeroplane from a cardboard box. He is Max is Flying High from Sassy Cheryl. Wow! Sweet memories of simple times when all that was needed was a cardboard box and a little imagination.

Hello, for this challenge I made a card for wedding. I added butterflies, chipboard and handmade flowers from foam. At the beginning my flowers were white, I coloured them with pastels.
Angela
Hi all, I'm here today to show you my "Things with Wings". I used Finnabair stamps by Prima and Tim Holtz die and tapes but not before colouring the card with some gorgeous Oxide colours. Completed the design with one of my favourite stitch stamps by Crescendoh.
Kimx
I chose a beautiful, but very large butterfly stamp from Chocolate Baroque for my card. I stamped and embossed the image onto vellum and then did some dry embossing on the reverse to give the image some extra dimension. More details on my blog.
Maike
A different kind of a winged animal, but a cute one, don't you think? This dragon is from a My Favorite Things set and the stars are as well. Love the stitching around them.
Jackie
You say Wings... I say Butterfly! My card was made using the some backing paper from my stash, and some diecuts using plain white card.
Peggy
This is a digital image from the March Monthly Colouring Class by Kit and Clowder. I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils. I thought he fit this challenge perfectly.
