#207 Go Green

Thank you for all your lovely creations last time and for those of you who entered our DT call. I will be contacting the successful ladies in the next couple of days.

So onto today’s challenge, which is hosted by Judy, Go Green. In honour of St. Patrick's day this coming Saturday, we would like to see your green creations. They do not have to be monochromatic, only green, but we would like to see the major part of your creation is green. Please don't just stick a leaf in the corner and think it qualifies! We also don't want just St. Patrick's day themed cards/projects unless the majority of them is green, as the challenge is about the colour green.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the Go Green theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Judy

I used a rubber stamp from Stamps Happen, Inc for my green inspired card. The stamp is called Willow Flower fairy. I coloured the image with Copics, gelli pen and Posca paints. I thought it was the perfect stamp for a green themed card.

Josephine

I started with a digital background from Crafts and Me, added some stamped fairies from Clarity and lots of glitter pen to make this mainly green card.

Angela

For this card I have used Distress Oxides to create the background and then stamped over this and the card blank with brown Distress ink. The flowers and the butterfly are Kim Dellow stamps and the sentiment is a sizzix die.

Jackie

My card was made as a bon voyage card - I used a Debbi Moore cd for the images and background paper and added charms and embellishments from my stash.

Margaret

For this Challenge I created a couple of Mixed Media ATCs. For the background I used Distress Inks, some texture paste and embossing powder through a stencil and also did a little stamping. Some left over scraps and an Imaginarium chipboard flourish make up the collage and I also added a Kaisercraft brad and a few prills and microbeads.

Lin

I used a combination of Sue Wilson Octagon dies and Heartfelt Creations flowers to create my Green card. Please see my blog for details.

Glenda

I used a coloured image from Beccy's Place, added some Stickles and Glitter Glue to the flowers and made the center flower and the leaf below it dimensional. Embellished the card with bought craft flowers and die cut leaves.

Mary

I cut various shades of green card using the Tattered Lace die blossoming butterfly and layered up different sections and then added Stickles to the butterflies and Liquid Pearls to one of the flowers and the pearls on the flourishes.

Hello, today I want to show you a green, wedding card. I used green papers ;) and wedding chipboard. I added lots of different, green leaves and flowers from Wild Orchid Craft. Hugs

Maike

I have created a background with two shades of Nuvo paste; then die cut the windows from it and dry embossed it once it was dry. The cute critters are from Your Next stamp and I love how bright they turned out ;o) Happy crafting, everyone ;o)

Kimx

I chose Bundled Sage Green Distress and Oxide inks for my card using Jane Gill's fabulous JGS576 Decorative Bee stamp.

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!
