#216 Holidays/Vacations

Julie is hosting today's challenge, Holidays/Vacations

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the HolIdays/Vacations theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Julie

Josephine
Dies from Creative Expressions and a dies and a stamp from Die Cutting Essentials magazine were combined to make this card. Someone's off on their holidays!

Mary

I have made a simple easel card using a page from the Everyday Card Collection pad of House Mouse Designs and some coordinating cardstock.

Angela

I've used Distress Oxides to make the background with Tim Holtz stamps then TH dies for the globes and birds and if that's not enough I finished it off with TH tiny birds and the sentiment. The white brads completed the design.

Judy

To create my card I used a rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Beach Scene and a beach frame cutting die by Amy Design. My beach scene was coloured with copics and pencil crayons and I added a couple of finding to complete the card.

Glenda

The image is a digital stamp from All Dressed Up and coloured with Copics and some Prisma Color markers. The brown leaves are from a die cut titled Sylvan Sprig by Poppystamps and the flowers are from punches.

Jackie

My card was made using some stamps that came free with a magazine, and some distress inks to make the backgrounds.

Hello, today I want to fly, fly somewhere. I made a shaker box card with rocket and stars.

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

This will be our last challenge for a few weeks as we will be taking a Summer break and will not be back until 20th August. The challenge will, however, run for the usual two weeks.

#215 At Least Two Dies/Punches or One of Each

Jackie is hosting today's challenge, At least two dies/punches or one of each!

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Jackie

My card was made using dies from my stash - there are at least 5 different ones used here!

Josephine

We reorganised our kitchen before putting the house on the market and needed to fill a bit of wall. These use a range of dies, stencils, stamps, paint, glitter pens and embossing paste. Details on my blog.

Judy

This card I made for the challenge uses a digital image by All Dressed Up and 2 rubber stamps by Stampin Up along with Distressed Oxides. The two dies I used on the card are the circle stitched and the butterfly die. More info on my blog.

Angela

I can hardly believe that I actually used six dies on this card! The borders are two by Sue Wilson, the centre by Clarity stamps. The butterfly uses two dies by Tim Holtz and the sentiment is by Tim too. Ribbons, glitter and gems complete the card xXx

Mary

I used several dies form Tattered Lace to make this card.

Glenda

I have used 4 die's and a Mo Manning image in the creation of this card. Please see my blog for all the details.

Julie

I have used 9 dies and Meet Me In Paris Paper Collection

Maike

I have used a stitched frame die as well as a die for the grass, this cute fence and the pink clouds in the sky.

Margaret

For my card I have used a border punch to edge the top layer of paper and I have used a die to create the cogs and wheels. The collage includes a clock and assorted ephemera.

Wishing you a wonderful day!! xx

Jo

I used a selection of dies and punches on pink & silver mirri card then finished with some faux pearls.

Agnieszka chanya13

Hello, today I made a card for a little girl. I used lots of dies. I love to work with them.

Marlene

I have made a Twisted Easel Card using a Tina Wenche Stamp. I have had this for ages. Used a few Dies and A Butterfly Punch

My dies are the beautiful new ones from Sue Wilson's 1018 Festive Range, Festive Frames, Eve. I used two parts to the die to make my focal point. I also used some Marianne dies for the two shinny fish and the tiger shark. See my blog for details

Dr Monika
Hello, I altered a small box into sea theme project, I love using so many dies and punches in my project, so here I have done the same. I used Prima Marketing gesso, acrylics, art stones, rust pastes, Lindy’s starburst sprays, Little Birdie metal dies and other supplies like sea shells, border punch, handmade flowers, laces, beads from my stash. I hope you will love it. Please have a visit on my blog for more details. xoxoxo

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

I was blown away by this fabulous card. That pink/purple flower just looks amazing, and there is so much more to see in the background.

This beautiful rich, warm background is perfect for the sunflower image.

The flower here is both delicate and vibrant at the same time. Gorgeous

I love this, it transports you somewhere magical. Is the whale in the sky or are those birds underwater, who knows what happens in dreams.

Such a gorgeous mixed media tag. There is so much going on and the colours all tone so beautifully.

Two beautiful designs, the ink blending in each is fabulous and the white embossing really pops against the background.

Congratulations to you all. Don't forget to collect your badges from the sidebar, and we look forward to seeing you back here at 12 Noon for our new challenge.
