#256 Celebrations

Although we realise life is difficult for many right now, and you may not feel like celebrating, there is still lots to be thankful for, births, anniversaries and of course birthdays, so please join in with our challenge of Celebrations today, hosted by Kim.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece or home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Kimx

A 60th Birthday is definitely something to celebrate.

Josephine

I used a Crafter's Companion cut and emboss folder, a die-cut butterfly and a pre-printed sentiment to make a card for my son's partner to celebrate her birthday.

Glenda

I used a die-cut for the black swirls and the sentiment is from an old paper pack. The tag came from my stash and was hand stamped using Stampin' Ups 'Amazing You' and ' Express Yourself' stamp sets.

Maike

Judy

I used a digital image for my wedding shower card that I coloured with copic markers , gel pen, Wink of Stella and Nuvo Crystal drops.

Mary

I used a Bugaboo digi image which I coloured using Promarkers and applied Liquid Pearl dots around the edge. I then added a die cut butterfly and bunny.

Angela

I made this card using my own Masterboards for the background and a large sentiment die by 'Die-Versions' then finished it with some large sequins.

Agnieszka chanya13

Hello, I made a birthday card for a man who loves flowers.

Margaret

My card was created for a nephew who turned 18 a few months ago. I have used layers of design papers, die cuts and chipboard pieces. All the details are on my blog. Take care and have a great day! xx

Marlene

I have used this cite image from Paper Nest Dolls called Hippo and Piggy, I have coloured them with Promarkers and used some 3D Gloss to the Balloons added some flowers

Jackie

My card was made using some backing paper from my stash, a couple of images I found on an old crafting cd and some die cuts.

Lin

My card, for a friend's 80th, was made from a free kit that came with a magazine. The gorgeous turquoise mirri card came from my stash and the white background is from Spellbinders' Elegant Ovals.

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

  1. Hi fabulous DT inspiration for the challenge-could I just ask do you still have a 15 other challenges entered limit on entries?

  2. Hi Carol, thank you for the compliment on behalf of the team. No we don't have that rule anymore. We got fed up of either telling people off or deleting their entries, so in the end it got the better of me and I removed it!
