#116 Flourishing - Use one or more flourishes

Sorry we were MIA last time around. I had intended to have a Mixed Media challenge two weeks ago but it’s all change here at Cardmakers’ Towers, and a new blog for that style of challenges will be launching soon.

We are still hosting a Design Team Call for our new Mixed Media/Altered Art blog, please see the post here

Elaine is hosting our challenge this time around and she has chosen the theme 'Flourishing' so she would
like to see a flourish of some kind on your project, this can be stamped, die cut or even both!

We are sponsored by

With 3 Images of the Winner's Choice. If, however, the winner has used a Stamping Boutique Image they will received 4 images of their choice

Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor at CRAFTY CARDMAKERS. We at TSB are very proud to offer original digital images and artwork to you. Thank you for giving us a few minutes of your valuable time to look over the store at http://thestampingboutique.com/ Good luck in the challenge and we hope to see you over at our TSB Community network. http://thestampingboutique.ning.com/

Some inspiration from our DT

The top flourish is a cheery Lynn one(my favorite) and the botton one is  Marianne Design.

Cindy

I added glittery embossed glittery flourishes to this explosion card made with papers from Craftwork Cards.

Fiona
For my card I have used a Woodware stamp coloured with my ProMarkers. My flourish papers are digi papers from Pink Petticoat. I have also die cut some flourishes with a Cheery Lynn "Fanciful Flourish" die.

Josephine
For my card I've used a sponsor's image: Daisy Fairy by The Stamping Boutique. I used a couple of Sizzix flourishes which I've decorated with daisies.

Julie
Sympathy Card, made entirely in Silhouette Studio

Suze
A very quick and easy card using the large flourish from Stampin Up's Baroque Motifs, sentiment is by Papermania and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

Lin
I have used a lovely digi from our Sponsor The Stamping Boutique called Daisy Fairy, along with various diecuts and a free embossing folder of daisies

Kimx
My card has been created using a stamped panel from my ,bits box', an embossed flourish background and a couple of Cheery Lynn flourishes covered in Frantage Embossing Enamel.

Carole
For my card I have used an image from our Sponsors, The Stamping Boutique, called Whimsical Bird. I have coloured it using Spectrum Noirs - and gone for a bright look!!

    1. I thought he was completely fabulous Zoe, but he had a definite look of evil about him, lol!! Reminded me of the look the tomcat round our way gives my dog when I walk her, you can see it would take no prompting at all for him to leap on her and beat her up

    2. Lin I loved your honesty all to often people leave completely inappropriate comments (when I publish it the one just before or just after yours is a prime example) It is scary! But the new to me method of creating him was great fun and it is the fun the adventure the learning process that I'm sharing. Please feel free to express yourself over at my little place anytime positive and constructive negative are always welcome. and no your comment was not negative at all. XOXO Zoe
