#253 Spring

Good morning from England. We at Crafty Cardmakers just wanted to wish you all the very best and hope that you are looking after yourselves as best as you can in these difficult times. We hope that you can take a break from all the worry and enjoy entering our challenge.

Judy is hosting today's challenge, Spring.

With any luck Spring is springing where you are, so we would love to see your Spring creations. Spring Colours will also be acceptable.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece or home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Judy

Mary

I have used Hunkydory's Little Book of Sweet Springtime and decoupaged one of the images. I matted it onto silver mirri and a pastel yellow card. I used tattered Lace dies to cut the sentiment.

Glenda

I used a Whimsy Stamp titled 'Bonnie', coloured her with Copics and gave her a background using various die cuts.

Angela

Docraft papers were used for this card. The central images are 3D decoupage and the tags were cut from one of the background papers. Look forward to seeing what you all come up with. Happy crafting, Angela xXx

Josephine

I've used stamps by Crafty Individuals and Stamps by Chloe, and a die cut lacy doily from First Edition along with Susan's Garden dies from Sizzix to complete this card.

Marlene

To make my card I have used a Paper Nest Dolls Stamp she is called LuLu with Daffodil added a few Flowers and gems.

Margaret

To create my card, I have used papers and a flair by Kaisercraft, Tim Holtz Wildflower dies as well as flowers and stamens from my stash. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Happy crafting everyone!! xx

Agnieszka chanya13

Hello, I made a card with lot of flowers. I hope you like it.

Maike

I just love this cute turtle by Gerda Steiner Design and making this card really cheered me up a lot. Just like spring always does! Take care and happy crafting everyone!

Kimx

Nothing like daffodils to make you think of Spring, and as it was Mother's Day in the UK this weekend this seems the perfect card for this challenge.

Jackie

My card is a fresh spring colours flower box, made using some scrap paper and ribbon from my stash and some flower embellishments.

Lin

I've made a tag with some lovely bright colours, using Studio Light stamp and Graphic 45 and John Next Door dies see my blog for details

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

#252 Green

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day on 17th March, Chanya is hosting today's challenge, Green. It does not have to be just green and as long as green is your predominant colour then it will fit our challenge, but please, one small green leaf will not!

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece or home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Hello, today I made a wedding card, a lot of greens and a little gold, I hope you like it.

Mary

I used Beverley Eden's Riverside paper pad and dies to create this card.

Josephine

I've used Distress Oxide and Pixie Powder in the background, a die from, I think, Crafts Too, and some stamps from Creative Stamper Magazine.

Angela

Woodware stamps and Altenew dies with Stickles Glitter glue to complete the design. Look forward to seeing what you come up with too. Angela xXx

Glenda

I decided I wanted to make a Fairy card and do her in green I used a stamp titled Fantasy Fae as my fairy of choice and made the card monochromatic. See my blog for more details. Hugs!

Judy

For this green card challenge I decided to use an old rubber stamp by Viva Las Vegas called Lady Lunching. I coloured my image with copics in different shapes of green and added Pentart glitter pen and Nuvo Crystal Drops to give the card some shine.

Marlene

I have used a Paper Nest Dolls image called Lucky Lulu the papers are from Lawn Fawn added some flowers and a ribbon bow to finish it off

Maike

I really love the cute cats by My Favorite Stamps and thought they would be
perfect for a green outside scene.

Kimx

I've used a resist technique for my green card.

Margaret

I have created a Notebook Folder using Kraft Cardstock and papers by Kaisercraft. For all the details, see my blog. Have fun with your crafting! x

Jo

A 'swoosh' of ink, a stamped sentiment, a die cut fern leaf and a string bow to finish.
