#251 Embossing

Josephine is hosting today's challenge, Embossing. This can be either dry embossing using a tool or a folder, or embossing a stamp, etc.

As usual anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece or home decor, as long as it meets the theme.

Some inspiration from our fabulous DT

Josephine

Lots of heat embossing and watercolour to make this card using stamps from Hobby Art and a pre-inked stamp for the sentiment whose manufacturer I can't read that I've had for around 15 years!

Maike

Glenda

A simple wedding card using a 3-D Sizzix embossing folder!

Angela

Good excuse to make my Mother's Day card. I used both heat embossing and an embossing folder to make this card and there are details on my blog. Happy crafting, Angela xXx

Mary

I used a plaid embossing folder for the background. I then sanded it and coloured it using Distress Inks. The digi image coloured using Promarkers is from The Paper Shelter.

Judy

I used a Crafter's Companion embossing folder for the card along with Distress Inks. I layered the image with Tim Holtz's Metallic paper from his idea-ology collect. To complete the card I used a "For Someone Special" die cut along with a Pentart rainbow glitter pen.

Marlene

I used a Embossing folder from LDRS and Embossing Powder An All Dressed Up Stamp coloured with Copics and Maya Papers

Margaret

I used Core'dination cardstock and an embossing folder to create a small envelope for a Mini Album I am making at the moment. After embossing, I used an emery board to bring out the pattern and expose the core! Find all the details on my blog. Have a fabulous day and enjoy your crafting!! x

Jackie

I have had a run of these to do lately - and that can stop right now! - and this sympathy card was for a man, so I wanted to avoid too many flowers. I embossed the marble effect paper with an old favourite embossing folder, and layered with dies.

Kimx

Plenty of heat embossing on the main tree, and a lovely embossing folder in the background of my card.

Agnieszka chanya13

Hello, toaday I want to show you a simple invitation for a birthday.

Lin

I used an embossing folder and wax pastes. See my blog for details.

Had fun making this card. Altenew Hearts and Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamps and dies. Look forward to seeing what you come up with too xXx

Josephine

I've stamped and heat embossed the image in gold, before colouring with pencils. The result: a fairly CAS Valentine's card.

Glenda

A fun image for a child's card using a tin man and hearts.

Judy

I made this card for my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary. I used a combination of heart and love cutting dies, embossing folders, mixed media paper, an Italian poem rubber stamp and a gel pen along of crafting products.

Mary

I have used Sweet Designs hedgehogs die and the accompaning charisma pad to make this card.

Margaret

For my card I have used Kaisercraft papers, a Tim Holtz Wildflower die, Little Birdie flowers and a scattering of prills and micro beads. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Enjoy your crafting! x

Jackie

For my card, I was asked to match the "theme" of the wedding, I used my favourite stepper card die to make the base card, cut the hearts using my scan n cut and the bride and groom were (I think) Joanna Sheen dies.

Agnieszka chanya13

I made a wedding card with a little pink and with hearts, I hope you like it. Hugs.

Jo

I needed a Valentine's card that was non traditional, not lovey dovey and definitely no pink or red! For more details please pop over to my blog.

Lin

My image is from Polkadoodles, Me & You stamp set, coloured with Zig Clean Colour pens. Please see my blog for more details.

A card made with a lovely old image and some bleach.

Dr Monika
I made two cards using "Bob n Betty" Crimson Love paper collection and stamps from Hampton Art. I made handmade flowers to embellish my cards. I have used Lindy's Stamp Gang magical shakers to colour the flowers and leaves. I hope you will like my project.

We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

This card captured my interest with the swirly lines that added so much to the overall look.

3 Sidan

I love the look of this card, it reminds me of long lonesome winter days. It is beautiful and makes an appropriate mourning card.

A lovely card and I found the wisping away of the flower fluff appropriate for it's intended purpose. Very well done!

7 Liz Cavill

A fun card, made me smile and I really like the embossed background.

9 Scrapacrolles
